Who: 1/207 AVN-Alaskan and Hawaiian Resources
Members of the 1/207 AVN will deploy in rotations of 3 weeks in support of Task Force

What: 6 UH60L Blackhawk Helicopters and necessary support resources
C-23b Sherpa Aircraft and necessary support resources

When: January 8-Mid May, 2001

Why: Several Central American Countries sustained heavy damage due to a large Hurricane (MITCH) in 1998.

Where: 1/207 will deploy to Soto Cano Air Base in Honduras and then station themselves to two outpost camps, one in Honduras and one in Guatemala.
